Setup is
quite easy, in fact it doesn’t even need to be
installed: Just copy the contents of the zip in a folder on your pc and run.
Before you
can contact the network you have to set a few things:
1 – Start SquawkRadar:
After startup you will see 3 windows, the main radar screen, the
connection window and the little grey “control box”

2 – Click Load Sector and choose one of the
sector files (in the Squawkwin Folder)

3 – If you click Setup in that control box, a 4th
window appears: “Main setup”
4 – Click Network setup:
This is the
most important setup.
Enter your
First and Last name, and the Login and Password you received of your network
administrator.
As you can
see the addresses of the servers are already set for you.

5 – Now for the TeamSpeak
setup:
If you want
to use TeamSpeak, you need to install this of course.
As you can
see the TeamSpeak voice url is already set.
This is
used by the Pilots in your area so that they can “tune” on your frequency
You can
change the url a little bit
however:
The last 4 caracters of the url
is the channel of the TeamSpeak server.
If there
are more ATC’s you can change it into ATC2, ATC3 or
ATC4. so that every ATC has his own channel.
You have to
start up TeamSpeak yourself and go to the right
server and channel.
The most
easy way is to copy the exact url
from the network setup (without the /ATC1) and past it in the “quick connect”
screen of TeamSpeak. Also enter Nickname (starting
with ATC-), Login and Password.
Login and
Password are exactly the same as for the network. (all
uppercase)

6 – Now open (and forward) one single port
needed for SquawRadar: 55004

7 – You are ready now. Click the “Connect”
button.
If anything is all
right you probably will see a message like this:

You also will see your
Licenses & Skills and your ranking.
If you have
any questions, be free to put them on the forum.
Happy ATC-ing
